Heavy Action Bass Anglers (HABA) strive to elevate the skill level of bass anglers while providing individual and family access to fun and competitive fishing. We are a diverse group of adults and youth anglers dedicated to conserving the sport of bass fishing for future generations to enjoy.
HABA conducts nine (9) bass tournaments annually. Each tournament requires pairing a non-boater(s) with a boater(s) (drawing decides the pair). HABA has an Angler of the Year (AOY) program which encourages growth and competitive focus. Each angler's highest scored six events determine their end of year standing, with the highest points earner winning Angler of The Year.
Heavy Action Bass Anglers' Classic Tournament is the last event of the season. To qualify for the Classic, member must fish one regular HABA tournaments. We welcome any angler that conducts themself in a professional manner.
